Union Jacks at the ready!

Spring is here and it’s time to take your vans out of hibernation and plan some weekends away.

I have booked to attend the Lewes Retreat in May and September. I went along for the first time last year and loved it, this year's first retreat falls over the Coronation weekend. We will be celebrating in our own unique style. I will be bringing my bunting and scones.

I am looking forward to seeing the other campervan owners and having a chilled weekend of adventure and fun.

Here are 5 reasons you should come along and join us:

Community: One of the key reasons why people love being part of the campervan retreat is the sense

of community that it provides. Whether you're traveling solo or with a group of friends, you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your love of adventure and the outdoors.

Yoga: Yoga is a cornerstone of the campervan retreat experience, with daily classes offered in local natural settings.

Practicing yoga outside is a beautiful experience it helps you connect with both your body and the natural world around you.

Campfires: Gathering around a campfire is one of the most cherished traditions of the campervan retreat experience. It's a chance to relax, unwind, and connect with others as you share stories, sing songs, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life in nature.

Sisterhood: For many women, the campervan retreat is a chance to connect with other women and build a sense of sisterhood. Whether you're traveling with a group of girlfriends or meeting new friends along the way, you'll have the chance to bond over shared experiences.

Try something new: Adventure activities such as paddleboarding, wild swimming, drumming circle, and gong baths all enhance the campervan retreat experience by offering new and exciting challenges. These organised activities can help you step outside your comfort zones and connect with nature in unique ways. I loved my first gong bath in a forest, it was such a memorable experience shared with other like minded ladies!

Me time within the safety of the group: Finally, the campervan retreat provides a valuable opportunity for solo travellers to enjoy some much-needed "me time." Whether you're exploring the great outdoors, practicing yoga, or simply reading a book by the campfire, you'll have the chance to recharge your batteries and connect with yourself on a deeper level and feel 100% safe.
