Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the Retreats for?

A   Female Campervan owners who want to escape for a few of days of peace, 'me time' and a chance to connect with other women and unwind. 

​

Q Can I come on my own?

A   Yes, absolutely - that's the whole idea! You're not alone once you arrive - you have found your tribe.

​

Do I need a VW camper? 

A  No, this is not exclusively VW's! you will need a Campervan to sleep in. You can always hire one and small motorhomes are also welcome at all the Retreats.

​

Are there toilet and shower facilities?

A  Yes, locations have at least 1 toilet and shower available. 

​

What is included?

A  Each Retreat is different depending on location, theme and duration. However, most  activities, van pitch, water, firewood, BBQ area and Welcome Drink are.  Optional extras include awning, EHU if available, Massage and Paddle Boarding. 

​

Are activities held indoors or outdoors?

A  This will depend on the location but we aim to be outdoors as much as possible with an option at each venue to go inside if the weather changes.

​

What time can I arrive?

A  Usually from 2pm onwards but check specific Retreat for more details.

​

What meals are included?

A  You will need to bring all your own food although we will have a fire pit/campfire for the group to commune around for meals, if you wish. (Check specific Retreat for more details). 

​

I am a total beginner at Yoga - will I be able to keep up?

A  Yes, you take it at your own pace and total beginners are very welcome, in fact this type of Retreat is perfect for you to explore Yoga and have a go in a safe, nurturing and relaxed environment.

​

Do I need to have experience of Mediation or Breath work?

A  No, you will be able to ease into this and find your own way easily.

​

Is electric hook up available for my Campervan?

A  The only retreat that has EHU is the Pembrokeshire venue which has 9 available. 

​

Do I have to join in all the activities?

A  No, you can join in all, or pick and choose as you wish and take some time to be by yourself too.

​

What should I bring along?

A  Depending on the time of year, warm change of clothes and some waterproofs, socks, sunscreen, umbrella, walking boots or trainers, a warm blanket for the evenings, a Yoga mat, cooking equipment, your usual camping gear and all food and drink. 

​

What do I wear?

A  Comfortable clothes, leggings, joggers, jumpers, warm layers that you can easily remove should you wish, walking boots, Yoga socks, and waterproof jacket/trousers for the walks.  Hats are a good idea if the evenings might be colder. We love bright colours so don't be worried if you want to go bold!

​

How do I secure a space?

A   We have various payment options available including a low deposit and monthly installments or pay a 50%  deposit with the rest of the balance required 60 days prior to arrival. More info is available at the checkout. 

​

Can I bring a friend along in my Campervan? 

A   Yes, definitely, how wonderful! You will both save ££'s coming together and you will make amazing memories together too.

​

Is alcohol permitted?

A  Yes - although the theme is a wellbeing, we can still safely enjoy a glass or two of wine! 

​

Can men come along?

A  No sorry, our retreats are for women only.

​

What is the cancellation policy?

A   If you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat you will only lose your deposit. If you cancel 30 - 60 days before the retreat you will lose 75% of the total cost. If you cancel less than 30 days before the retreat there are no refunds. You may transfer your place to someone else (without a fee) but it is your responsibility to find your replacement.

Are dogs allowed?

A  As a general rule no dogs are allowed. We love dogs though so we welcome a small number of dogs at the Pembrokeshire retreats. The other locations do not allow dogs sadly, this is beyond our control. 

​

What happens if it rains?

A   We run outdoor Retreats in the UK so there is a good chance of some rain. Please bring with you clothing that is appropriate for the activities on your Retreat. Activities will go ahead unless the weather is so severe that it is unsafe to do so. If an activity is cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions we will endeavor to deliver an alternative activity.

Are fires allowed?

A  Yes, we will always have a communal fire to come together. 

​

Are awnings allowed?

A  Yes, awnings are allowed although each location is different so please check specific dates and locations for more details.
