Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the retreats for? Women campervan owners who want to escape for a couple of days of peace, 'me time', and a chance to connect with other women and unwind. 

Can I come on my own? Yes, absolutely - that's the whole idea! Your not alone once you arrive - you have found your tribe.

Do I need a VW camper?  No, you will need a small (or hired) campervan to sleep in. 

Are there toilet and shower facilities? Yes, all locations will have toilets and most will have showers available (check specific retreats for details).

What is included? Each retreat is different depending on location, theme and duration. However, all activities, van pitch, water, and welcome drink are. 

Are lessons held indoors or outdoors? This will depend on the location but we aim to be outdoors as much as possible with an option at each venue to go inside if the weather changes.

What time can I arrive? Usually from 3pm onwards but check specific retreat for more details.

What meals are included? You will need to bring all your own food although we will have a fire pit/campfire for the group to commune around for meals, if you wish. (Check specific retreat for more details). 

I am a total beginner at Yoga - can I still come, will I be able to keep up? Yes, you take it at your own pace and total beginners are very welcome, in fact this type of retreat is perfect for you to explore yoga and have a go in a safe, nurturing and relaxed environment.

Do I need to have experience of mediation or breath work? No, you will be able to ease into this practice and find your own path easily.

Is electric hook up available for my campervan? Some locations will have electric hook up but some might not, please check each individual retreat for more details. 

Do I have to join in all the activities? No, you can join in all, or pick and choose as you wish, and take some time to be by yourself too.

What should I bring along? Depending on the time of year, warm change of clothes and some waterproofs, socks, sunscreen, umbrella, walking boots or trainers, a warm blanket for the evenings, a yoga mat, (there will be a few spares so please request one if needed) cooking equipment, all food and drink (although some refreshments will be supplied).

What do I wear? Comfortable sports clothes, leggings, joggers, jumpers, warm layers that you can easily remove should you wish, walking boots, yoga socks, and waterproof jacket/trousers for the walks. 

How do I secure a space? You can book directly on the website by paying a £75 non-refundable deposit with the rest of the balance required 60 days prior to arrival.

Can I bring a friend along in my campervan? Yes, definitely, how wonderful! You will both save ££'s coming together and you will make amazing memories together too.

Is alcohol permitted? Absolutely - although the theme is a wellbeing retreat we can still safely enjoy a glass or two of wine! 

What time do the days start? Generally on a two night retreat, you can arrive the night before, then the first full day's sessions will begin at 10am and finish around 6pm, day two will begin around 9.30am and finish around 2pm. A one night retreat we will start activities around 1pm until 6pm and then the next morning start at 9.30am and finish at 2pm.

Can men come along? No sorry, our retreats are for women only.

What is the cancellation policy? if you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat you will only lose your deposit. If you cancel 30 - 60 days before the retreat you will lose 75% of the total cost. If you cancel less than 30 days before the retreat there are no refunds. You may transfer your place to someone else (without a fee) but it is your responsibility to find your replacement. 

Are dogs allowed? Sorry, no dogs allowed. We love dogs though! 

What happens if it rains? We run outdoor retreats throughout the UK so there is a chance of some rain. Please bring with you clothing that is appropriate for the activities on your retreat. Activities will go ahead unless the weather is so severe that it is unsafe to do so. If an activity is cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions we will endeavor to deliver an alternative activity. 

Are fires allowed? Most venues we visit allow off the ground fire pits but check the specific retreat details for confirmation.

Are awnings allowed? Yes, awnings are allowed, you will have lots of space.
