Campervan Retreats FAQ
Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our women’s campervan retreats across the UK. If you’re new to campervan life, travelling solo, or simply curious about how our wellness retreats work, this page will help you feel confident and ready for your adventure.
Can I come on my own?
Yes — absolutely. That’s the whole idea. The moment you arrive, you’re no longer alone… you’ve found your tribe.
Do I need a VW camper?
No. Any campervan is welcome, and small motorhomes are fine too. You can also hire a van if you don’t have your own.
Are there toilet and shower facilities?
Yes. Every location has at least one toilet and shower available.
Are activities held indoors or outdoors?
We aim to be outdoors as much as possible, but every venue has an indoor option if the weather changes.
What time can I arrive?
Usually from 3pm onwards — please check the details for your specific retreat.
What meals are included?
Most retreats are self‑catering. You’ll bring your own food, and we’ll have a communal fire pit for shared meals if you wish. Check your retreat page for exact details.
I’m a complete beginner at yoga — will I be able to keep up?
Yes. You take everything at your own pace. Beginners are very welcome, and our retreats are a gentle, supportive place to explore yoga for the first time.
Do I need experience with meditation or breathwork?
No. You’ll be guided gently and can ease into it in your own way.
Is electric hook‑up available?
Only our Pembrokeshire retreat offers EHU, with 10 hook‑ups available.
Do I have to join in with all the activities?
Not at all. You can join everything, pick and choose, or take quiet time for yourself.
What should I bring?
This depends on the season, but generally: warm layers, waterproofs, socks, sunscreen, walking boots or trainers, a cosy blanket for evenings, a yoga mat, cooking equipment, your usual camping gear and all food and drink.
What do I wear?
Comfortable layers you can move in — leggings, joggers, jumpers, warm outerwear, waterproofs and walking boots. Hats are great for cooler evenings. And if you love bright colours, go for it.
How do I secure a space?
We offer flexible payment options including a low deposit, monthly instalments or a discounted pay‑in‑full option. Full details are available at checkout.
Can I bring a friend in my campervan?
Yes — and you’ll both save money by sharing. It’s a lovely way to make memories together.
Is alcohol permitted?
Yes, you’re welcome to enjoy a glass of wine if you wish.
What is the cancellation policy?
-
More than 60 days before the retreat: deposit is non‑refundable.
-
Less than 60 days: 50% of the total cost is non‑refundable.
-
Less than 30 days: 100% of the total cost is non‑refundable. You may transfer your place to someone else at no charge, but it is your responsibility to find a replacement.
Are dogs allowed?
Most retreats can welcome 3–4 dogs, but some venues do not allow them. Please check each retreat for details. There is no charge to bring your dog, but they must be under control and not impact other guests.
What happens if it rains?
We run outdoor retreats in the UK — so rain is always possible. Bring suitable clothing. Activities will continue unless conditions are unsafe. If something must be cancelled due to severe weather, we’ll do our best to offer an alternative.
Are fires allowed?
Yes — we always have a communal fire to gather around.
Are awnings allowed?
Yes, although this varies by location. Please check your specific retreat for details.
